(RTTNews.com) - Markel Corp. (MKL) said Wednesday that it has agreed to buy Essentia Insurance Co. from OneBeacon Insurance Group LLC.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal is expected to close in January.
Essentia Insurance Co. will continue to underwrite insurance exclusively for Hagerty Insurance Agency and Hagerty Classic Marine Insurance Agency throughout the United States.
